What is Reiki?

Reiki is Spirit Energy. What is Spirit energy? It is the creative force that makes creation possible. What is that creative force? The creative force that sustains and creates all things and to which we all return is love. For this reason it is said that god is love. All things come from love, are sustained by love and return to love. Love is the unity of all things. Love is the vehicle through which we know ourselves and know each other. Love is the liberation of all beings. To be attuned to Reiki is to be attuned to the flow of unconditional, universal love. This opening is the beginning of our liberation, the beginning of the liberation of all beings. Reiki attunement is not the end but a means. It is direct transmission of dharma, mind to mind, heart to heart, original mind to original mind. This is a mystery penetrated only through practice.
